Can't believe this little purple birb dude is what got me to Folklore series. No regrets though this series has been living on my brain rent free for more than 2 months since I found it. I think it was a hit to me because I grew up loving any local or foreign folktales and legends that I hear.
Zhen is prefectly sussy as the office the apprentice was in. Though I was wondering why Zhen kind of stretched out the interrogation by conversing and letting us ask questions when he could've just easily hypnotized us right from the start to extract the answers immediately and hoooo boyyy that part where he asks if the apprentice likes crooked man in a romantic, platonic, or in a royalist way i couldn't help but say "boi you wish it was platonic" out loud. Might be wrong but his vibes with the apprentice from the shishiodoshi and this is giving that one "do we have to sit like this" meme. It was so much fun to see all the outcomes to the dialogues regardless if there was only one ending. The yes yes yes options made me like...what the hell sure I believe you because we DEFINITELY have the free will for this. Props to the VA as well he did Zhen STUNNINGLY.
Anyways I miss my wif- crooked already my dude literally sends all his familiars after the apprentice just to make sure they're fine i love him so much. I'm looking forward to when we can see these two interact, I love their whole opposites schtick (red, awkward, transparent with how they express themselves and purple, confident, ermm...deceptive in a sort of way?) I've already thrown them to the petri dish and sent them under the microscope to be observed for hours.

The writing and voice acting were phenomenal, Zhen is so iconic, it was such a delight to "talk" with him. I MIGHT have fallen for him (don't tell him that though, I fear his ego doesn't need anymore boost).
The visuals and animation portray so well the tense and sinister situation we are in. I love this game T_T
It's hard not to fall in love with this man's voice. Such a charming setting. By the way, what happens next? Hurry up and make it, teacher. It's not that I'm rushing you; it's just that my expectations for it are so high that I can't get into other games. Every line feels like it has a deeper meaning. It's just that I thought there would be more plots about distorting people.

Zhen is one of those guys who I felt deserved a little game on his own, as he can be quite different when he's amongst bigger groups of people. We can all see the real him (? Or the version of him he wants us to see I suppose).

I know you already know, but I LOVE Zhen. He's charming. He's weird, and he is definitely good at his job.
I don't think I'd actually mind being in the apprentice's place, because Zhen is a whole lot of fun to talk to. (And he's very cute >>; Exceptionally cute. His voice actor did a great job with bringing his character to life, too!)
All of the dialogue was interesting, but it was sincerely delightful to get a chance to flirt a little with our charming interrogator.
I'm looking forward to seeing just where the story goes for the Crooked Man's apprentice... and I'm hoping the Crooked Man is okay at this point in the story...

Zhen is the literal definition of CHARISMA. I don't make the rules. His design was great, and the concept of the game is excellent. It really put me on the edge, trying to think of how I can continue the conversation with him to gather as much information as I can about the world or the BBA; although, it all ultimately leads to one thing, and this one thing, gosh, we need to talk about it, because this one thing was soooo wonderfully executed!! The spinning, the colours, the effects used were absolutely magistral, and it helped portraying Zhen, at the end of the day, as a very skilled and charismatic manipulator!! Congrats on releasing this game, and thank you for making it!
Oh my gosh! This guy is so charming. I have tried only a few routes. And I know that if you refuse to talk. Zhen will just directly use some tricks to open ur mouth.And he sounds amazing! I like the way he talks. It suits his personality. Thank you for creating such a wonderful game!
