The narration and voice acting are so natural that they completely immerse in the story. And you are a very cunning developer, aren't you? To leave players in limbo and worry about the characters and make them want to know more... Was that your intention? Seriously, I'm really looking forward to the continuation of the stories about the twins.
Thanks so much for the comment! I'm glad you enjoyed the story. Their story will continue, I hope you can look forward to it unfolding :)
im so invested in this series it's actually insane. tysm literally
Thank you so much Sutch! It's such a joy to get comments like this! I am happy to report you'll get at least 2 more games this year in the series - maybe 3 🥹
I NEED MORE!!!!!! My brains already trying to piece things together! Oh my stars I loved this game and I love this whole entire series! I totes cant wait for more in this series! Also the acephobia in the king!? I wanted to smack him. Props to Sean for being so kind! I loved the characters though and how they all interacted with each other, it was like a cute little found family.
Thank you so much for the lovely feedback and playing the game!
I wanted to punch the King in the mouth as I was writing him, being mean to Sean, Morrigan and Robert is just unacceptable. 😂
The voice actors did such an incredible job too. Ryan playing Sean AND The King And Robert is just so mind blowing to me. 🙇 Also Lauren peppered Morrigan with plenty of sass, they're incredible too 🫶
Sean, Morrigan and Robert are such a lovely found family. 🥹
Thanks again.

Firstly, (whether for a gamejam or not) it was lovely to see a visual novel centering around understanding and accepting asexuality. But also, getting to know more about the world of Mythics and seeing some of the ties to the other games in the Folklore series was really cool.
I'm honestly excited to see where this story goes, and just how much of it ties into the other games (I could see the big tie-in ... besides with the Mythics themselves... when the box was brought in.)
Even as a standalone, however, this was a solid visual novel. The characters were very well written. Even King Tier, who frustrated me to no end. I actually am looking forward to his downfall, if that is at all planned.
The other characters were lovely, however. I adored all of them. Morrigan was wonderfully sassy (and beautiful, too!) and Sean is an absolute sweetheart. I'm glad that he holds strong in spite of how much the king nags about him needing a successor.
And, of course, Robert was adorable. As a grown up, he has quite an air of patience, and I am curious to see what happens in regards to him having the sea's favor. Also... he seems a bit familiar? His looks are similar to the Creature in Inside The Box. I can only guess that he has a decent part to play in this series.
Of course, the aesthetics of this game were utterly gorgeous, too. Even with some of the modern flair to the art, the way that you colored them and the outfits they wore along with the backgrounds, made it all look very much like an illustration in an old fairytale or something. And I love the entire premise of using old folklore creatures in the series that you are making. It's really cool!
The voice acting really tied it all together, too. (Though I did mute Morrigan for recording the video, I really liked her voice when I got a chance to listen to it) Both actors did an excellent job!
To sum it all up. I had a lot of fun with Bloodlines, and I was so sad with there being a cliffhanger! I'm really looking forward to more, both of this story and of the Folklore series in general.
Keep up the great work. I have a lot of fun with your visual novels!
🥹🥹🥹 Thank you so much Cryptid, I always love your playthroughs. You noticed Sean's flowers in the kitchen! that made me so happy as no one else had spotted the colours yet. I wanted them to really stand out, because it's a fantasy period piece, it was challenging to incorporate words and symbols of asexuality, the flowers felt like a fitting way to do so.
I'm so happy you enjoyed all the characters too! Well aside from Tier, as hateful and bitter as he is, you can see his paranoia and fear of things he doesn't understand, and I think this story really sets the scene for how irrationally driven he is in 'looking like a wilful King' rather than actually listening to his people.
All the Folklore stories are going to link together in the future, and I'm really looking forward to that moment. That little box is causing so much intrigue 🎁
Thanks once again - it's so lovely to read your comments and watch your playthroughs
I'm surprised that no one else spotted the flowers before me! You did a great job of incorporating them, though. They're a nice, subtle incorporation but still obvious enough that one can notice if they pay attention.
Tier is a frustrating character. I enjoyed him as a well-written antagonist, but he is very irrationally driven. I'm honestly looking forward to seeing what happens to him.
It's going to be so cool when everything ties together! I'm excited for it.
Thank you for checking out my playthrough, and for making such delightful visual novels 💖
