Finally I've gotten around to this! (took me a while, ahah...) Either way, this series continues to absolutely enrapture me with intrigue. I'm not quite sure what makes it so, be it the characters, the mystery, the stakes, the worldbuilding...(just to name a few), but it is just SO interesting to me!!! You really know how to keep a reader hooked, this was one of those games you play and don't even see the time passing by. The voice acting was as stellar as in previous installents, and really I'm not in a place to accurately comment on this but the different accents seemed pretty authentically casted atleast to me. I quite enjoyed the music in the scene prior to the first choice too.
On a side note, MAN did the segment with Jack and Jill make me audibly giggle at times. I love them, they are so so silly
Thank you so much AshersBraincells for your comment! I really appreciated you taking the time to let me know. The VAs were absolutely great and a pleasure to work with, I'm delighted to say they're all returning this year for more titles.
But honestly, thank you, it makes my day to receive comments like this ✨

Suraj is incredibly charming and sweet. Honestly, it was a little surprising that he was so genuinely kind, and getting a chance to hear his story was lovely and heartbreaking. I'm glad we got a chance to hug him after things started getting... weird.
I also have such a soft spot for Hakon now ;-; (his little smile gets me every time) His story broke my heart so much. He's a grumpy, but sweet birb and his adoration for Suraj gives me so much life.
It was really cool to see how things happened before Only When You Sleep, but now I'm desperately hoping for a happy end to the series. I want everyone to be okay. (I cried over Suraj when he went with Seo. I felt so bad for him. Especially knowing where the story goes after that.)
All of the endings were very satisfying too. Even the "bad" ones, although they certainly left a lot of things open for interpretation. Save for maybe Ending 2, that puts us in the Neverplace.
But meeting Peter was an absolute delight. I can't wait to see more of him, especially since he seems so intent on helping us. I liked that his endings left off with a continuation, and now I'm even more eager to see what happens after the events of Only When You Sleep.
(Honestly, I could gush about the Folklore series for hours. It's the kind of modern fantasy that I could absolutely devour.)
Also, I'm still utterly in love with your character designs and backgrounds. They are gorgeous. And the voice acting was excellent!
(... as an aside, I now maybe... kinda... have a little crush on Pandemonium. Hearing their voice was quite a treat ^^; )
Excellent work! I'm looking forward to the next installment of the Folklore series!
Thanks so much Cryptid, it's always a delight to watch your playthroughs and read your comments. I felt a little nervous with this one, as it's the longest yet, but I'm really glad that you enjoyed it.
Thanks again for taking the time to play and leave such a considerate review. ✨
Hi, Your Game, thank you so much for posting. I really appreciate it
This not only completely changes the perspective of many things from the previous entries but also made me go back and notice details that I didn't even pick up on! My mind is swarming with theories! Your writing is immaculate!
Thanks so much Manni! I really appreciate it. I'm so excited to reveal more of the journey as it unfolds.
I love when the theories start forming. I'd love to hear, but I also respect if you want to keep them to yourself.
It's those amazing VAs I work with, they really set the mood 😉
You got me crying over here. Pandemonium's attempts to free itself from the Neverplace has hurt so many people in the universe you've created. And we still don't have a clue as to why Pandemonium is doing this, beyond seemingly idle curiosity about the Waking World.
Thanks for much for commenting BlackwaterRevenant. Yep, Pandemonium is really screwing everyone over. But why is a good question we'll find out the answer soon enough 👀
🥹 I hope you can dry your eyes soon.
My blessing and my curse, I get attached to others easily. That would likely be how Pandemonium would get to me, with promises of reunion with those it has already taken. And perhaps a promise of never being alone again.
